Delivery charges are as shown on the order form with following exceptions:

Home equipment products. In the case of larger items there may also be an additional charge due to the size and type of carriers required to move the product. Customers will be notified of this prior to despatch of their order.

Professional and Disabled products are all EXCLUSIVE of delivery charges which may be shown on screen if the system knows the area for delivery. By creating an account (see your account) this procedure is automated. If not shown a quote will be emailed to you.

Export. All export orders are subject to a carriage charge which will be quoted prior to your order being processed
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. Payments can also be made by cheque or bankers draft. Please note that whilst most goods can be posted to other countries an additional charge for carriage may be chargeable. Payment would be acceptable by credit card or bankers transfer. Easy payment terms are available for UK customers only through a Personal Loan. Details available upon request
All our store prices are VAT inclusive. A VAT invoice will be forwarded to you prior to delivery. When you enter the cashier section of the site you will be presented with an order confirmation that breaks down the gross amount into separate net and vat amounts. This is for the benefit of our VAT registered business clients to allow them to budget easily for VAT claims. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. Payments can also be made by cheque or bankers draft. Those businesses registered for VAT in the EEC will upon production of a valid registration number be charged net of VAT. This applies to EEC Member Countries only.
Due to the dimensions and weights some of our goods are despatched direct from the manufacturer/supplier normally within 48 hours of an order being processed. Currently our average time for delivery of goods is 3 to 7 working days, although in the case of the larger, heavier items this could be 10-14 days. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 a customer is entitled to cancel and/or arrange return of the goods ordered up to and within 7 days after receipt of said goods subject to certain conditions. This does not include goods that have been specifically made or altered to suit the customer's own requirements. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing within the specified time limit. S & L UK will accept this notice by fax or e-mail. A telephone message does not qualify as proper notice. Prior to collection of the goods it is the customer's responsibility to ensure their safekeeping and retention of quality. Any collection will be made at the earliest possible time by arrangement with the customer within a 30-day period after notice is received. S & L UK is entitled to levy a return charge to cover the carriage cost of the goods. This will be determined and notified to the customer by e-mail, and is dependent upon the size and weight of the goods to be returned. Where goods become faulty within the manufacturers period of guarantee and the fault is not due to mishandling by the user, action will be taken to repair or replace the item in accordance with that manufacturer's warranty. Goods to be returned after the 7 day period above or those that are not faulty, can only be done so with the agreement of S & L UK who reserve the right, in all cases, to make a restocking charge of 30% + VAT. This in no way affects your statutory rights.
Title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full. The responsibility and risk in the Goods shall pass to the buyer at the point of delivery and S & L UK shall have no responsibility in respect of the safety of the goods thereafter. S & L UK does not normally offer any goods on a sale or return basis other than as stated in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
S & L UK makes every effort to ensure that the products advertised on their site are of a high quality. We are governed by the manufacturer's ability to provide the quality of product S & L UK expects its customers to receive. There are times when this may be beyond our control. S & L UK also makes every effort to ensure that the purpose for which the product is advertised is the correct one. Equipment must at all times be used only in accordance with manufacturers instructions and only after thoroughly reading and understanding those instructions. No one should undertake any form of exercise without first consulting their doctor or specialist and agreeing with them that it is safe for them to do so.
All the details, dimensions and usage of the product shown on this web site have been supplied to S & L UK by the manufacturers/suppliers. Should there be any discrepancies we apologise.
If goods are found to have been damaged in transit then they may be returned and a replacement, if available, will be despatched. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. S & L UK must be informed within 10 days by either e-mail to , by telephoning on (00 44) (0)1977 662861/662333 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (standard call rates apply) or by fax on (00 44) (0) 1977 662488 with confirmation in writing thereafter. It is in your own interests to check the delivery immediately and notify S & L UK of any problems.
Due to dimensions and weight the majority of our larger pieces of equipment is despatched direct from the manufacturer/supplier. This may occasionally lead to a delay in the delivery of an order, which is beyond the control of S & L UK who apologise should this happen. We will endeavour to keep customers aware of any such developments.
In an endeavour to protect our customers all details are credit checked. Where it appears that a card has been used fraudulently it is this company's policy to pass all details to the Police local to the area shown on the order. We feel sure potential customers will appreciate these actions.
S & L UK operates a privacy policy in respect of customers and prospective customers personal details. Information required for completion of a transaction is:
- Customer Name and Address
- Contact Phone number(s) and e-mail address
- Delivery Address (if different)
- Details concerning payment i.e. credit card, cheque and banker's draft.
The information supplied will be used for the sole purpose of the transaction for which it is required. Access to customers' personal details, as above, will be available to that customer only upon written request. No third party, other than a credit card company where appropriate, shall have access to this information without the authority of said customer.
